Bapuji

Privacy

Last updated 8 September 2026

This statement explains what we do with personal information collected through this website. It is written to meet our obligations under the Privacy Act 2020 and, where health information is involved, the Health Information Privacy Code 2020.

The website collects no health information. The waitlist form asks for your name, your email address and an optional note. Please do not put any health information in that note. If you do, we will delete it.

Who we are

Bapuji is operated by Second Properties Limited, a New Zealand company, NZBN 9429046076281, of 21 First Avenue, Kingsland, Auckland 1021. For anything in this statement you can contact us at hello@bapuji.co.nz.

What we collect, and why

Giving us this information is voluntary. If you do not, you cannot join the waitlist, but you can still contact us by email.

Where it is held

Our website, and the database that stores waitlist submissions, are both hosted by Cloudflare, Inc. Cloudflare stores data on servers outside New Zealand, including in the United States and other countries. We have satisfied ourselves that Cloudflare is required to protect your information to a standard comparable to New Zealand law, and it acts as our agent rather than using your information for its own purposes.

How long we keep it

We keep waitlist details until you ask us to remove them, or until we close the waitlist and have contacted everyone on it, whichever comes first. After that we delete them.

Who we share it with

Nobody, except the service providers named above who host and process it on our behalf. We would disclose information if the law required it, and we would tell you unless we were prohibited from doing so.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time to tell you what information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Email hello@bapuji.co.nz and we will respond within twenty working days. There is no charge.

If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner at privacy.org.nz or on 0800 803 909.

If you become a client

The service itself involves retrieving your health records, which is a much larger undertaking than this website. Before any of that begins we will give you a separate, fuller privacy statement and ask you to sign a written authority setting out exactly which organisations we may approach on your behalf, and what we may do with what they send. Nothing is requested without that authority.

Changes

If we change this statement we will update the date above. Material changes affecting people already on the waitlist will be sent by email.
